Creating art is something that comes naturally to me but the inspiration started early after receiving only handmade gifts from my Aunt. These gifts were always wrapped in white tissue paper with a pretty cotton bow. The simplicity and beauty of that wrapping taught me that beauty is not measured merely is size but in quality. I have learned that art is found in the simplest things and in the ordinary, from a child's smile to a stunning sunset on the Pacific Ocean.  Like my Italian Grandmother for whom my company is named, I create each piece to make a woman feel like a beautiful rose!

As a jewelry designer, I'm attracted to asymmetrical design, because it reflects a unique style with no formula. With no design formula, comes a greater freedom of creativity, resulting in unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry. Using the principle of balance, I can organize the objects, colors and shapes to create appealing asymmetric jewelry that is interesting, fun, and seductive.

In my shop you will find high quality jewellery handmade by me from scratch. All my glass is hand cut, layered, fused in my kiln to a suitable firing and annealing schedule for strength and durability, then finished to the highest standards. My findings are attached to the glass with industrial strength glue with a seven day curing time. All my work is 100% guaranteed so you can buy with confidence. I occasionally use artisan hand cut gemstone cabochons in my own handcrafted sterling silver or gold settings. On such occasions I will always accredit the lapidary artist in my listing.

I have been making jewelry for over 15 years. I started making my own jewelry since I could never find what I was looking for. I tend to like the bigger jewelry, but I have a small frame. Plus who wants to wear boring jewelry! After years of being begged by people to make them pieces, I decided that I should follow my heart and do it part time. I would love to do it full time, but I DO live in the Bay Area :). ♥I LOVE to do custom stuff. Just let me know what you’re looking for. I've done a few weddings, and hundreds of custom pieces, I just love the look on someone's face when they get what they want

I am a self taught artist. My favorite materials that I like to work with include copper wire, gemstones, Swarovski Crystal, and glass. Some of my favorite themes include Organic and Nature inspired, Metaphysical, Garden and Victorian art, Gothic and Tattoo art. I am always trying new themes. I also love learning new techniques, so I am always experimenting with new materials and designs. I am currently learning to create solder art pieces and experimenting with resin. My hope is that I will find people who love to wear my art as much as I love to create it. A lot of thought and love go into each piece that I create.

Someone a very long time ago, imagined a bead into existence. It is obvious that they were very pleased as the ancient art of beading carries on to this day. As far back as I can remember, art has played a big roll in my life. I can be inspired from the colors of someone's eyes and what they are wearing, a red cardinal up against the rough bark of a tree, these and countless others are what take me to my studio to sketch out new ideas and create. I do not tend to make repeat designs save the wirework necklace, bracelets and various earth stones that will allow for consistent design… preferring instead, to see where the next bead takes me.

Delicate, glimmering elements define my works of art. Created on a whim by arranging forms before function, I like to handcraft jewelry for its expressive content. Starting with sketches whenever and wherever inspiration strikes, I spend hours arranging the colors and shapes that catch my eye. A love of the simple and of the complex evokes my jewelry, to live in a style both practical and luxurious.

I am a daughter, a sister, a wife a mother a devoted friend. I am a woman of strength and character and I am an artist. My life is devoted to my many endeavours as I strive for balance and fulfillment. I don't know if I chose to make jewelry or it chose me- but I have an endless desire to create that must be constantly fed or I am incomplete. When I design, my goal is to borrow a moment of your time to take you on a journey...touch your soul and leave you pleased with what you see. It will not be the same designs that define my work, but a collection of "creations" that only in a lifetime can show the world who I am. I hope you enjoy my designs as much as I enjoy designing them. Blessings, Donnamarie

I love designing jewelry. Everything I make is created from my imagination and my belief that jewelry is art – to be worn, enjoyed and loved. I handpick beads based on color, shape and texture, often finding unusual patterning in the stones that I enhance with the use of sterling silver and/or accent beads. I have spent years collecting beads from many cultures that I incorporate into my pieces. I love working with unusual, irreplaceable beads. I have a studio in my home and this is my full-time business and every day I love "going to work."  I only use professional grade supplies in my creations and each piece is certain to be appreciated for years to come.
