My artistic desire is to communicate with others through my creations.  By designing bold jewelry that remains simple and unpretentious, I hope to give the wearer a sense of confidence and happiness. The thing I strive for artistically, is to find a way to meld my personal philosophies with my art. I'm a very mutable person, though, so the constant changing and evolving of my art is blatantly visible.

We create handmade, one-of-a-kind jewelry utilizing primarily handmade lampwork beads purchased directly from beadmakers, Swarovski crystals and pearls, natural stones and vintage glass. Since this is a passion and a hobby, we love to sell at fundraisers for charitable causes: local schools and hospitals, service organizations and charities such as the American Heart Association and the Wellness Community, etc. We pride ourselves on giving extra service; when we've completed a design, we save the photos with extra beads. When that piece sells, the photo and extra beads are saved with the buyers' name and other information for future use, enabling us to create an extra earring when one is lost or to lengthen a necklace or bracelet.

I have been collecting beads and findings for many years now. I make jewelry when the mood hits me. I have to be inspired!  I live in the country in Knoxville, Maryland. Near the Potomac River and just a few miles from Harpers Ferry, West Virginia.  I am an avid motorcycle rider and we have wonderful country roads to explore.  I am a member of Self-Representing Artist Jewelry Designer SRAJD #1740 and stand behind my designs.  I want all of my customers to be happy. I ship items in gift boxes and gift bags. If you are not satisfied please contact me and we will work out a solution.   I sell on Etsy.com and starting a shop on Artfire.com also.

Hello and thank you for visiting my shop! I would like to introduce you to my handmade 925 sterling wire wrapped jewelry, a combination of fine metals (Thai Hill silver), Bali beads, Swarovski crystals, gemstones and lampwork. With each one-of-a-kind creation I make I try to achieve a design that has personality, elegance and beauty so it can be worn with either a casual attire or haute couture. Most of my pieces, in a deliberately rustic style, are filled with earthy, organic gemstones I can’t resist arranging in various shapes and colours. No two pieces are ever exactly alike, because they are individual creations!
I gather my gemstones from sources in Los Angeles, Prescott Valley in Arizona and New York.
Jewelry making is my hobby and so far many times when meeting people I was asked to sell the jewelry I was wearing. I have been designing for many years, while living in Europe and United States, so seeing the world has been a great source of inspiration for me. Later on, I started my own website and nowadays, most of my work can be seen and purchased on the Internet, as I market my designs internationally.<br />

My philosophy is fairly simple - take beautiful, quality components and try to show them to their best advantage. My pieces are individually designed and all handmade by me.  I use precious metals, semi precious gemstones, crystals and handmade lampwork beads. I love working with silver wire and the way it moves and can be shaped. I also love the different finishes and textures you can achieve.  Most often the beads lead the design.  Many of my pieces incorporate lampwork glass beads. Lampworking is a skill that takes a great deal of practice and patience. I am constantly amazed by the range of colours, shapes and decorative elements lampworkers manage to produce.

Greetings & Salutations from the ArchDiva of the Flaming Redheads! I would love for you to stop in my Etsy shop, where you will find I work primarily in sterling silver and glass beads. I’m also a novice metalsmith, learning new and interesting ways to bring silver and flame together. My inspiration comes from many different places and people, sometimes even my day job as a college health educator. It is work that doesn’t always provide tangible results, which makes creating a new piece of jewelry that much more rewarding. I can say “I made this!” with great satisfaction!
