I create because I must. It is deeply imbedded in my soul and is a large part of who I am. My creations are designed with the idea that they will touch the soul of the person they were meant for when they were created. Many people will admire a creation, but only one person will buy it. Some people will buy more than one. Art is joy, Art is freedom, Art is healing.

All my jewellery is hand crafted using cold enamels. The resins I use are of a very high quality and are non toxic when cured and contain no solvents. All my jewellery has a highly polished appearance and long lifespan.  I achieve a dome shape or globule by applying a number of thin layers of coloured resin. Depending on the desired affect required, each layer may need drying before another colour is applied. This can take anything up to 24 hours. I then enhance the appearance of the base layer using a clear resin to achieve a 'lens' effect. Using this approach, I am able to create a scratch resistant surface of water like clarity and brilliance every time.  A steady hand is required during any of the application processes. Timing is also very important, as the resin becomes harder to work with as soon as the curing process starts.

As a jewelry designer, I'm inspired by the beauty of the world we live in, working with treasures from the sea and natural stones created within the earth upon which we exist. I love to find rare and unusual stones to incorporate into my pieces. Every creation is unique and one of a kind.

Art and its creation has been my life since the tender age of seven. After majoring in Art History during college; I was blessed with the opportunity to work in an art museum, which was fabulous! However my love affair with the art world did not stop there. My true passion and current full time job is creating jewelry. It started about 12 years ago and now consumes my life. Themes in my jewelry explore the dimensions of both art and history itself, traveling thru time, inspired by the Victorian Era, Roaring 20's and Industrial Age. Tinkering with vintage watches, and finding that perfect juxtaposition of old and new is the part of the puzzle that keeps me going. Sometimes I just stare at one of my pieces, until it hits me on how to transform it into a treasured work of art. My ultimate creative goal is to inspire and beautify the world with my timeless, MYSTIC PIECES; providing enjoyment and style for all those who appreciate unique creations.
