#2249 As I
have owned the site "Artisans/Jewelry Designers Community" for
almost 3 years, I am proud to sponsor handcrafted artisans in all the Jewelry
design areas. Designing and making jewelry is my passion, and anything given
to me that has been "made with care" I
cherish the most. http://artisanjewelrydesigners.ning.com |

#3034 I hand
cut and polish most of the focal stones I use in my work and I weave all the kumihimo cords and Viking knit pieces. My enamels are
kiln-fired. I am recycling my own silver scraps back into wire and sheet.
This is a very time consuming and physically demanding process. I use cold
connections occasionally but all other components are soldered. I use .925 sterling silver and .999 fine silver as well as some
bronze, brass and copper. I also use Reticulation silver which is 80% silver
and 20% copper. The ear wires are either sterling silver or surgical steel. I
also use metal clays. The metal content is listed on each item. http://www.JulyCreek.com |
