I make various ranges of jewellery in silver, sterling silver plate, semi-precious gemstones and sea glass. All are hand crafted in our studio from components purchased in Egypt usually, but we are also now making our own PMC items, especially for our lovely authentic sea glass jewellery. We sell from our website, on ebay, (Etsy in due course) and at a few local outlets. I also hold small jewellery classes two or three times a week and these are very popular, ex-students then attend Project Days in groups of 4 to make specific projects.

I am an artist with a passion for the history & art of personal adornment. Therefore, I choose jewelry design as a medium for my creative expression. I have been honing my craft for over ten years; professionally since 2002. I am inspired by the world around me; the people I meet and their experiences & situations. I feel that jewelry is a wearable art form that helps tell a story about the wearer as well as the designer. Although I enjoy making jewelry on a whim, custom adornment is where my heart is, as it is truly unique to the client's personal story. I hope that each piece is not only worn but cherished now & in generations to come.

I am very passionate about creating one-of-a-kind pieces that say something about the wearer. As a designer, I look for the unusual, incorporating bold statements with the innovative use of a wide variety of beads, charms and pendants. I love bright-colored lampwork beads and use them to add vitality to the classic look of beautiful natural stones, pearls and Swarovski crystals. My goal is a piece that you will enjoy wearing for a long time.

My art is an exploration of shapes, sounds and textures from the world around me. It is fun and challenging to take wire, beads and crystals and form it into the vision in my head. I thrive daily on chaos and random schedules. I am not tuned into symmetry, and my work often reflects this. As I work on a piece, my thought patterns often change and I have to follow those left and right turns off the beaten path of a planned process and see where the road takes me.

I have worked with stained glass for many years and was introduced to dichroic glass, fused glass and wire wrapping by a friend a couple of years ago. I love creating jewelry that uses these techniques because no two pieces are exactly the same. I am blessed to be sharing my gifts with others so that they too can enjoy the beauty that evolves from these processes. I look forward to continuing to learn and evolve.

I have always loved beautiful things, and I enjoy Art in any form. Being a Designer Professionally has given me a lifetime of enjoyment in being able to create beautiful things for myself and others. I strive to provide exquisite designs, made from fine quality materials and provide excellent service to my customers. I hope you enjoy my creations as much as I enjoy designing them. Even at my age I never go out without my long dangly earrings... I've always had a passion for jewelry.
